Some might think it strange, others may consider it odd, for me to dedicate this entire section advocating for the KINGDOM of GOD. It is to you my GOD, my SAVIOR, and KING that I honor and praise YOUR NAME. The holy name of JESUS CHRIST my LORD I won’t deny or be ashamed. You died for me to be an Heiress to your great eternal throne. It was your precious blood that saved the life I no longer claim nor own. It is YOU, FATHER GOD, who so loved your world and sent your only SON, JESUS CHRIST to save anyone who will confess him as LORD that he may give them eternal life.


I strive to demonstrate my KINGDOM advocacy by showing JESUS’ love and care by inviting people who want to know HIM for themselves to speak aloud a poetic prayer:


LORD JESUS, I am a sinner asking you to save me from all of my sin. I surrender my life, and I open my heart for you to freely come live in. Thank YOU, LORD JESUS for making me your disciple saved by grace through faith on this day, please help me go witness your good news of salvation since, I now know you’re the only way! Amen.

Elated to be on her own as a college Freshman attending a prestigious  black University, my Mother still continued to adhere to the strong Biblical foundation and Christian values that cultivated her beliefs from her closely guarded upbringing. Unbeknownst to her, she would soon learn that the tightly gripped strings of her purity, the attractiveness of her hour-glass shaped figure, and her lack of interactive experience with men outside of her seven brothers would soon contribute to her being preyed upon for her naivety.                                           

Being overtaken by an extremely popular senior-class scholar, my chase mother unknowingly conceived me, while being taken advantage of without consent, willingness, or desire. Although the circumstances surrounding my conception were far less than favorable, my Mother refused to abort me, knowing she had no plans of ever seeking out or telling my biological Father about my existence. Her new husband who immediately adopted me at two years of age gave me his name and viewed me as if I were his own child.


Twenty-eight years later, I had a dream that the man whose name I bore was not my Father. Even though I endearingly called him  "Daddy" during his entire lifetime, I could not ignore the internal longing I had to know the true source of my genetic makeup. When I called to share my dream with my Mother in Indiana from my apartment in Los Angeles, California, she confirmed the accuracy of my dream.  She then offered to share more detailed information about the circumstances surrounding my untimely birth.
